Emilie Clark


Emilie was an artist in residence at the Hui Press fine art publishing studio at the Hui No`eau Visual Arts Center on the Island of Maui, HI, where she created a series of etchings conjointly with poet Lytle Shaw’s text-based project interpreting Captain James Cook’s Three Voyages Round the World. The prints are expected to be published by the Hui Press in November 2008

Nathan Larramendy Gallery will have a solo presentation of Emilie Clark’s most recent body of work, Maxwell’s Lair, exploring the 19th Century naturalist Martha Maxwell, at NEXT Art Fair. NEXT is a new invitational contemporary art fair at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago, concurrent with Art Chicago, April 25 -28, 2008.
