March 27-28, 2008

Project Residency: Center For Digital Print Media 12:30-5:30 pm (visitors welcome)
Lecture: Richmond Salons 11:45 am - 12:30 pm

"Printmaking was one of the very first replication technologies and is now poised, as it integrates digital media and expands its conceptual borders, to occupy a pivotal position in contemporary art and culture

This conference will encourage critical discourse on such issues as digital media and expanded notions of print media, print theory, the plight of material and process specific disciplines, marginalization, and understanding printmaking's shift to a place of leadership in the postmodern terrain." -SGCC
